SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING INTERN – Open

Location: Minneapolis, MN USA
Job description
We are looking for an undergraduate/recent high School graduate student in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) area with an interest in marketing and social media. The primary responsibilities will be to assist with day-to-day operations of our social media platforms, influencer marketing, and event planning.
The ideal candidate would be a strong writer with established interest and previous projects focused on social media. This is an opportunity to work and collaborate directly with the founder of a growing children’s brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in marketing with social media management
- Help to manage influencer marketing initiatives
- Shipping and packing samples for influencers and PR gifting
- Planning and implementation of video shoots and brand events
- Reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Public Relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and interest working with video preferred
- Experience with Photoshop and/or WordPress is a plus
COMPENSATION:
- Unpaid- School Credit/experience

ART AND ILLUSTRATION INTERN – Open

We are looking for an undergraduate/recent high school graduate student in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) area with an interest in children’s picture book illustration . The primary responsibilities will be assisting with illustrating both public domain and books written in-house.
The ideal candidate would be someone who loves children’s picture books and an interest in a career within Art and/or Design. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate directly with the founder of a growing children’s brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in creating cute, fun, art that engage kids, mostly through sketch art and illustration.
- Planning and implementation of page layout and look.
- Imaginative input how YOUR ideas for a particular project could help make a book better.
- Help manage project organization and uploads.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in some form of art and/or design (or intend to).
- Far from perfect, but knowledge and interest in furthering your sketch art and illustrations.
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and interest working with mixed-media is a plus.
- Experience with Photoshop and/or WordPress is a plus
